Optional Software Modules

DTAS has all the many advantages of a truly modular system of case management.

• Target your software investment - First, it means you pay for and install only the modules you need. You do not pay for a variety of extra features you may never actually use. This lets you target your software investment on modules specific to your organization.

• Spread your investment across multiple budget years - Second, the modular design allows you to spread out your software investment across multiple budget years. This means you begin using software that could save you thousands in staff time. You can then reinvest this savings in more advanced modules in future budget years...but only if those add-on modules will actually pay for themselves in staff time saved.

• Adding new options - Third, as new modules are offered, you can choose to pass if the new features are not relevant to your operation, or if those new capabilities would not pay for themselves.

Below is a sample of some of the current options. 

• Correspondence Center (CC) - Prepare, print, and fully document correspondence or envelopes in seconds.

• Event Tracking and Calendaring (ETC)^TM - Take your case tracking and calendaring to a level of efficiency far beyond anything found in other calendar programs.

• Integrated Data Services (IDS)^TM - IDS is designed to reduce or eliminate data entry time by integrating your DTAS files with outside data sources either at start up, or on an ongoing basis.

• Multiple Office Management (MOM)^TM - Do you manage multiple remote offices, or need to separate case data into multiple types of operations or programs?  Do you have other reasons to separate cases into multiple, integrated but independent databases?  MOM was designed to handle multiple configurations of DTAS and apply these to multiple programs or offices.

• Evaluation and Research (EVAL) - This module was designed to establish a one time or ongoing transmission of case data with a research and evaluation unit or outside academic institution.  Confidential data is stripped from all case details prior to transmission.  Interactions can be established with a variety of statistical research software, including SPSS.

• Advanced Referral Tracking (ART) - Need better tracking on where your cases come from?  This option was designed for government programs with extensive tracking needs, and for private organizations with special marketing requirements.  Contact your representative at AMS for more details.
